Raccoon removal along Commerce City's South Platte River corridor and its edge against the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.
Call (844) 924-1337The Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge borders Commerce City directly, 15,988 acres that already count raccoons among the more than 330 species documented within its boundaries, and that shared boundary gives raccoons a direct route into the city's eastern edge that most Denver metro suburbs simply don't have. The South Platte River corridor running through Commerce City adds a second route from the opposite direction, since raccoons across the metro concentrate heavily along that waterway and its tributaries.
A raccoon working in from either direction, the refuge edge or the riverbank, tends to end up in the same kind of place: an older home with a chimney, a damaged soffit, or crawl space access nearby. Call (844) 924-1337 to discuss pest control help in Commerce City and check service availability.

Live trapping and relocation, followed by sealing the entry point, is the general approach for raccoons denning in or around a home. Because raccoons can be defensive and carry health risks, this is usually safer left to a professional with proper equipment.
Securing trash cans and pet food can reduce yard visits, but recurring activity or a suspected den warrants a professional assessment rather than an attempt to handle the animal.
It depends on your local animal control's policies and the specific situation. Municipal programs may focus on strays or immediate public-safety concerns; check the local service scope and discuss property-specific raccoon activity with PestGuardians. Worth checking what your local animal control actually covers before assuming either way.
Pricing depends on your location, the removal work involved, and whether entry-point repairs are needed. Call PestGuardians to discuss the work needed in Commerce City and request pricing for your situation.
