Snake removal for Aurora, where prairie rattlesnakes turn up most often at the undeveloped eastern edge still being built out.
Call (844) 924-1337Aurora's eastward expansion toward Denver International Airport has pushed new subdivisions directly up against open grassland that has always supported prairie rattlesnakes, along with open space bordering Cherry Creek State Park and Aurora Reservoir. That species, scattered more broadly across Colorado's eastern plains and Front Range foothills, is the one homeowners here actually run into rather than any other native snake.
Cooler spring and fall weather draws rattlesnakes onto warm pavement and trails to bask, which is exactly when they end up crossing paths with residents in these newer, edge of development neighborhoods, even though a bite anywhere in Colorado stays a fairly rare event. Keep a safe distance and avoid trying to catch or corner it yourself, especially if you're not sure of the species. Describe the sighting to PestGuardians; identification and an assessment of possible entry gaps can help determine the next step.
If it's a one-time sighting and the snake moves on its own, that's often the end of it. A snake that repeatedly appears in one area, or whose species is uncertain, warrants professional assessment; do not try to capture or relocate it yourself.
For a snake in or around your home, describe the sighting from a distance and discuss the identification and access concerns before removal is planned. Call PestGuardians to discuss your pest concern and check local service availability.
Snake removal pricing depends on your location, access conditions, and the circumstances of the sighting. Call PestGuardians to describe what you are seeing in Aurora and ask about the service scope and pricing.
