Snake removal for Bakersfield, where the Kern River Canyon leads directly into rattlesnake habitat at the edge of the southern Sierra Nevada.
Call (844) 924-1337Spring and fall bring the most rattlesnake activity to Bakersfield's canyon adjacent neighborhoods, when warmer weather has the snakes basking on trails, driveways, and sun warmed pavement, the same surfaces that line so many yards near the Kern River Canyon. That canyon, the one Thomas Baker's 1869 swampland reclamation was built around, opens straight into the foothill terrain of the southern Sierra Nevada, so a Bakersfield home doesn't have to sit far from downtown before it's effectively living inside snake habitat rather than next to it.
As new subdivisions keep climbing toward that canyon mouth, the number of homes with a rattlesnake as an occasional neighbor keeps growing too. Call (844) 924-1337 to discuss pest control help in Bakersfield and check service availability.

Keep a safe distance and avoid trying to catch or corner it yourself, especially if you're not sure of the species. Describe the sighting to PestGuardians; identification and an assessment of possible entry gaps can help determine the next step.
If it's a one-time sighting and the snake moves on its own, that's often the end of it. A snake that repeatedly appears in one area, or whose species is uncertain, warrants professional assessment; do not try to capture or relocate it yourself.
For a snake in or around your home, describe the sighting from a distance and discuss the identification and access concerns before removal is planned. Call PestGuardians to discuss your pest concern and check local service availability.
Snake removal pricing depends on your location, access conditions, and the circumstances of the sighting. Call PestGuardians to describe what you are seeing in Bakersfield and ask about the service scope and pricing.
