Raccoon removal for Mesa, where the canal network descended from the 1878 Mesa Canal gives an animal the surrounding desert wouldn't otherwise support a reliable water source and travel route.
Call (844) 924-1337Mesa exists because of a canal, the same one Mormon settlers re-excavated back in 1878 to found the community, and that history still shapes where raccoons turn up today. As the city grew into Arizona's third largest, backyard pools, golf course ponds, and other landscaped water features multiplied alongside the original canal network. Neighborhoods that back up to a canal or greenbelt see noticeably more raccoon pressure than lots sitting on drier, unirrigated ground.
Once inside a neighborhood, raccoons look for an attic, a chimney, or a gap beneath a shed to den in, and pet food, garbage, and pond fish all pull them in with equal ease. Call (844) 924-1337 to discuss pest control help in Mesa and check service availability.

Live trapping and relocation, followed by sealing the entry point, is the general approach for raccoons denning in or around a home. Because raccoons can be defensive and carry health risks, this is usually safer left to a professional with proper equipment.
Securing trash cans and pet food can reduce yard visits, but recurring activity or a suspected den warrants a professional assessment rather than an attempt to handle the animal.
It depends on your local animal control's policies and the specific situation. Municipal programs may focus on strays or immediate public-safety concerns; check the local service scope and discuss property-specific raccoon activity with PestGuardians. Worth checking what your local animal control actually covers before assuming either way.
Pricing depends on your location, the removal work involved, and whether entry-point repairs are needed. Call PestGuardians to discuss the work needed in Mesa and request pricing for your situation.
